Camping La Viollière is a very rural and private campsite, tucked away on the edge of the hamlet, with wide views over the lovely rolling Vendée countryside. As it has no road adjacent, it is calm, safe and protected.
With six pitches and a maximum of 20 people, there is plenty of room for everyone to find a spot that suits them. Electric hook-up can reach the most popular areas but those in tents or not needing electricity are free to pitch almost wherever they wish. There is a drinking water tap in the field.
The Camping has some good walks along the lanes or the nearby old railway track which has been put to footpath/cycle track. The boulangerie at Breuil Barret is a short bicycle ride or about 20 minutes walk along the back lanes and is open every morning except Wednesday. There are two marked walks starting from the village which lead through fields and woods.
